Privacy Policy
Your data stays yours
Last updated: September 20, 2026
Carry for iPhone and Carry for Mac move what your phone knows to your own computer, so the AI agents you run there can read it. Carry has no server. We, the people who make Carry, never receive your data.
Who we are
Carry is published by MINDVERSE AI PTE. LTD. ("we"). This policy covers Carry for iPhone (with its share extension), Carry for Mac (with the carry command) and this website.
What Carry reads
Only the sources you switch on, and you can switch each one off on either device at any time.
On iPhone: the Health types you allow (such as sleep, steps, heart rate, heart rate variability, workouts, weight and blood oxygen); your location, to record the places you stay and coarse moves, including in the background when you allow Always access; and anything you share to Carry from another app. With Pro's faster photo sync switched on, a viewing copy of each new photo and screenshot, sent only to your own iCloud for your Mac.
On Mac: data Apple already syncs to your Mac, such as Photos, Screenshots, Voice Memos, Notes, Messages, Calls, Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, Safari history and Screen Time, when you switch them on and grant macOS access.
Where it goes
Carry for iPhone writes what it captures to a Carry folder in your own iCloud Drive. Apple syncs that folder to your Mac under your Apple Account; see Apple's privacy policy for how iCloud handles it.
Carry for Mac keeps its files and search index in ~/.carry/ on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded to us or to any server we run, because there is none.
The one exception is remote access, which is off by default: if you turn it on, requests from the remote agent you chose and your Mac's answers pass through a forwarding relay that stores nothing.
Who sees it
You, and the AI agents you choose to point at Carry on your Mac (for example through ~/.carry/context/, the carry command or its MCP server). Those agents are software you install and control; what they do with the data, including sending it to their own providers, is governed by their terms and privacy policies, not this one.
Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with us or any third party by Carry.
Processing with Pro
With Pro, Carry for Mac turns pictures into text (Apple Vision) and recordings into transcripts (Apple Speech), both on your Mac. When you share a link, Carry for Mac downloads that page directly from its website to save its text, as a browser would. Pro also groups what Carry read by person (who you met, called or mentioned), on your Mac and without any model.
Subscriptions
Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your payment details. Carry only checks with Apple whether your subscription is active.
Feedback and this website
If you send feedback, it becomes a public issue at github.com/tao-felix/carry-feedback, with the details shown to you before it is sent (such as the Carry and system version and which sources are on). Do not include private content.
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
Deleting your data
"Pause sync" on either device stops the phone from sending and the Mac from reading until you switch it back. "Delete all data" on either device removes Carry's files from your iCloud and everything Carry keeps on your Mac, after one confirmation; your agents can no longer read any of it.
Health data stays in Apple Health, and your photos, notes and messages stay in Apple's apps, where Carry only ever read them.
Children
Carry is not directed at children under 13.
